Candyce Bond
Assistant Principal
"Once a Panther... Always a Panther!" Candyce Bond is excited to return to her alma mater - Cypress Lake High School Center for the Arts. She brings a variety of teaching experiences from schools in Lee County. Candyce earned her Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. At home, Candyce enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She looks forward to collaborating with the dedicated staff, families, and administrative team to help provide the best educational experience for all students. Candyce feels blessed to be part of the Panther family!

Liam Farrell
Assistant Principal
Liam Farrell, a product of Lee County Schools and a 1996 Cypress Lake High School graduate, is thrilled to return to his alma mater. He was raised on Fort Myers Beach and his father, Patrick Farrell, taught history at Cypress for over 20 years. Liam previously served CLHS as the athletic director (2014-2019) and during this time was recognized by his peers as Lee County Athletic Director of the year in 2018. Liam then served as an Assistant Principal at Lehigh Senior High School, overseeing Student Services from 2019 to 2022. Liam received his Bachelor's degree from Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, North Carolina, and his Master's degree from Appalachian State University. Before joining the Lee County School District, Liam coached college soccer at both the Division I and II levels. Liam and his wife, Dolly, have two children that are both enrolled in Lee County schools.

Adam Kurtz
Assistant Principal
Adam Kurtz is originally from Kendall, NY and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University in upstate NY. He is married and has two children. Mr. Kurtz moved to Florida in 2000 and began working as a teacher at Immokalee Middle School. He taught and coached in Immokalee for 6 years and then switched to Lexington Middle School, in Lee County. During that time, he obtained a Master of Education degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. In 2008, he started working at Cypress Lake High School as an Assistant Principal and has been working here ever since. He truly loves being at CLHS!

Gladys Rodriguez
Student Services Secretary
Gladys Rodriguez is a graduate of Cypress Lake High School, class of “82”. She has been working at Cypress Lake High School since 1999. She started out as a paraprofessional in the ESE department and was then promoted to secretary in the Student Services office. She is a proud mom of three Cypress Alumni, Fundador Rodriguez class of “99”, Carlos Rodriguez class of “01” and Sophia Rodriguez class of “03”. Many of the Rodriguez’s have passed through the Cypress hallways. “Once a Panther, Always a Panther”. She is looking forward to her grandchildren attending Cypress Lake High School one day.

Lori Ceilley
Behavior Specialist
Ms. Ceilley provides many of our students the consistency they need when transitioning from middle to high school. She provides support to staff regarding modifications, accommodations, instructional, and behavioral techniques to ensure success for those students with ESE services. She also works directly with students and provides guidance, along with strategies to promote their academic success and social well-being. Her door is always open.

Ajla Zak
Mental Health Counselor
Ajla Zak graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Masters in Social Work in 2013. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2018. She began her career providing individual and group counseling to inmates at a maximum security facility; however, her passion in working with children, youth, and families led her to her current role as a School Social Worker. Ajla is celebrating 21 years of living in the United States and also enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, taking her boys to the beach, and any outdoor activities!
