OUR MISSION

The primary goal of the Athletics Department at Cypress Lake High School is to develop the student-athlete as a total person. The goals and objectives contained in the strategic plan are intended to develop Champions for Life in three critical areas: academic integrity, social responsibility, and competitive athletic excellence. The Cypress Lake High School Athletics program distinguishes itself by valuing the student-athlete as a learner, citizen, and a competitor.

Athletic Clearance Instructions

Electronic Registration at athleticclearance.fhsaahome.org All students wishing to participate in Athletics must begin by completing the registration at athleticclearance.fhsaahome.org 

1.  Go to www.nfhslearn.com and watch the 4 student course videos: Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion in Sports, Heat Illness, and Sportsmanship. Either print out or take a screenshot of the 4 completion certificates.

2. Go to athleticclearance.fhsaahome.org and begin your registration.

*Check every sport you might be interested in.

**Complete all sections.

3. Once you reach the Files section, you are required to upload the following documents:

Required Paperwork to Upload

• EL2 FHSAA Physical (revised 2-2026): ONLY PAGE 4 ** completed,dated, and signed by a medical professional, student, and parent/guardian
• EL1 ECG screening form (Required for all incoming 9th grade students (2026-27) and all students in 10th -12th grade who have never participated in an FHSAA sanctioned sport)
• Proof of Medical Insurance
• CLHS Transportation Form
• Parent and Athlete Sportsmanship Pledge
• 4 NFHS course completion certificates. **Dated after 5-31-26 

Submit to Athletic Secretary

• Original Birth Certificate or Passport: for required proof of age (CLHS will make a copy)
• GA4 Form: required if you have ever attended another High School.
• Transcript/Final Report Card (beginning with 8th grade) if you attended 8th grade outside of the
  School District of Lee County
• Complete HS Transcript if you are/were a Virtual or Homeschool Student.

**If you are a "Non-Traditional" student: Homeschool/ Virtual School, please contact the CLHS Athletics Dept. as there is additional paperwork required, including your up to date Transcripts, beginning with 8th grade.

**If you are an "International" or "Foreign Born" student: please contact the CLHS Athletics Dept. for a list of required documents.

**GPA: must be at least a 2.00 (State GPA)

Information on Sporting Events

Cypress Lake High School uses GoFan for all sporting events. Tickets for upcoming games and matches can be purchased on CLHS's GoFan page. Be sure to not redeem your tickets until you are with a ticket validator. We do not accept cash for tickets nor do we accept screenshots of prior ticket purchases.

In order to increase the safety of our students, staff and guests at athletic and arts events, the School District of Lee County does not allow backpacks and other large bags into stadiums, gymnasiums and theaters.

For the safety of our athletes, performers, employees and spectators, we ask for your patience as you enter school games and events.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

• Book bags, backpacks, duffel bags, or large purses
• Any item that could be used as a missile
• Cans/Bottles
• Coolers
• Fireworks
• Horns/Lasers

Any type of weapon on school property is already prohibited under board policy. All guests attending events may be subject to a search. These changes implement policies similar to what the NCAA, professional sports teams, large arenas and theaters require of their guests.
