What is the Center for the Arts?
The Center for the Arts at Cypress Lake High School, an "Arts Achieve Model School," was created in 1994 to offer an enriched arts education for students with a passion and talent in music, theatre, dance, visual arts, and media arts. The program is designed to develop both the artistic and academic skills of students in order to help them achieve their personal goals.
Students graduating with a certificate from the Center for the Arts at Cypress Lake High School take with them an unparalleled appreciation for life and the arts, filled with critical thinking skills as well as problem-solving techniques. They are ready to become contributing citizens to our ever-changing world.
Our Center for the Arts teachers are highly qualified in their field, with numerous additional degrees and years of experience, meeting the needs of Cypress Lake High School's student population. All works created under the direction of Center for the Arts teachers are professional, unique, and considered some of the finest in Florida and other arts schools throughout the nation.
