CENTER MAJOR STATUS
The Center for the Arts provides an exciting opportunity for artistically talented high school students of Lee County. Admission to the program is by audition only. Once selected, students will become part of an artistic environment designed to develop their talents to the
highest possible level while fostering an appreciation and love of the arts which will serve them well in the pursuit
of the next step in their educational training and chosen careers. The application process for students who wish to be part of the Center for the Arts begins in January, with auditions typically being held in February for the upcoming school year. Accepted students take their academic classes at the main campus each day, along with classes in their chosen art form with their Center teachers. Students are welcome to participate in multiple arts disciplines but must choose one as a primary concentration.
