Angela Roles

Principal

Angela Roles has been the principal at CLHSCA since 2014. At Cypress our motto is “Once a Panther, always a Panther.” This has special meaning for Ms. Roles  because  she began her administrative career as an AP at Cypress Lake  Middle. She loved every minute of the four years she spent there before moving on to serve as APC at Fort Myers High School. She also served as the District administrator charge of implementing a new scheduling and student information system for every school in Lee County. Ms. Roles  served as principal of  Diplomat Middle School for ten years  before coming to Cypress Lake High School.

Ms. Roles has a B.A. is in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic and an M.S in Educational Leadership from the Nova Southeastern University. She is  a proud product of the Lee County School System, and has worked as both a teacher and administrator in the District  she loves for over twenty years. She was named the Lee County Assistant Principal of the Year in 2003 and  a certified trainer for the National Institute of School Leaders (NISL) in 2015. Teaching and learning is a tradition in her family. Her parents worked for the School District of Lee County, her sister was a Golden Apple Teacher  and she has one daughter. She is  proud to be from an “education” family.
